1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Plan EV Charge, you agree to be bound by these terms of use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application immediately.
2. Service Description
Plan EV Charge is a free online tool that provides estimated charging times for electric vehicles. All calculations are approximations based on manufacturer specifications and idealised charging curves. The service also offers optional account-based features including charge session planning, predictions, and personalised recommendations.
3. Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on Plan EV Charge, in accordance with French data protection law (GDPR, Article 8). The calculator tool may be used without an account and without age restriction.
4. User Accounts
When you create an account, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or remain inactive for more than 3 years.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service
- Circumvent or interfere with bot protection measures (reCAPTCHA)
- Impersonate any person or entity
We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 on authentication pages to protect the service against automated abuse. By using these pages, you agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimer
The charging time estimates provided by this tool are for informational purposes only. Actual charging times may vary significantly depending on factors including but not limited to: temperature, battery condition, charger capabilities, vehicle software, and grid conditions. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of the estimates.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep Plan EV Charge available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, digitalmecanizer and its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this application, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
9. Account Termination & Data Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. Upon deletion, your personal data (profile, credentials, email) is removed immediately. Charging session data is anonymised and retained as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your sessions before deleting your account.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the application. Continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with French law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms or the use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nanterre, France.
