- Company: digitalmecanizer (SASU)
- Registered office: Vaucresson, France
- SIREN: 907 891 261
- Contact: contact@planevcharge.com
2. Data We Collect
a) Calculator usage (no account required)
When you use the charging calculator without creating an account, all calculations run entirely in your browser. No personal data is sent to our servers. Your calculator preferences and configurations are stored in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
b) Account data
When you create an account, we collect and store:
- Email address — used for authentication and account identification
- Hashed password — securely hashed, never stored in plain text
- User profile — display name and preferences you choose to provide
c) Charge sessions & plans
When logged in, you can save charge sessions and plans. This data includes vehicle selection, charger settings, SOC values, and charging time results. This data is stored on our servers to provide the planning and prediction features.
We may use anonymised, aggregated session data (with all personal identifiers permanently removed) for research purposes. This aggregated data cannot be used to identify any individual user.
d) Prediction & recommendation data
If you use the prediction features, we process your saved charge sessions to generate personalised recommendations (next charge suggestions, schedule projections, cost optimisation). This processing is performed on our servers using your stored session data.
e) Analytics data
We collect two types of analytics data:
- First-party usage analytics — we collect anonymised page view and interaction events (page path, language, event type) on our own servers. No cookies are set and no personally identifiable information is collected. This data is processed under our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) to maintain and improve the service.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — with your explicit consent only, we use GA4 to collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and general interaction patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected through GA4.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data under the following legal bases (GDPR Article 6):
- Contract performance — account creation, charge session storage, and prediction features are necessary to provide the services you request (Art. 6(1)(b))
- Consent — Google Analytics cookies are only activated after your explicit consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a))
- Legitimate interest — first-party usage analytics, basic security measures, bot protection (reCAPTCHA), and service improvement (Art. 6(1)(f))
4. Data Retention
- Active accounts: your data is retained for as long as your account is active
- Inactive accounts: accounts with no activity for 3 years are automatically deleted, in accordance with CNIL guidelines
- Account deletion: upon request, your personal data (profile, credentials, email) is deleted immediately. Charging session data is anonymised (notes removed, session IDs regenerated, no link to your identity) and retained for service improvement under our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can export your sessions before deleting your account
- Analytics data: retained for 14 months (GA4 EU default), then automatically deleted
- Local storage: persists until you clear your browser data
5. Data Storage & International Transfers
Your account data and charge sessions are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the eu-west-3 region (Paris, France). Data remains within the European Union.
Google Analytics (if consented to) and Google reCAPTCHA may transfer data to servers located in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission on 10 July 2023). For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Third-Party Services & Sub-processors
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, data storage, compute (eu-west-3, Paris)
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymised usage analytics (consent-based only)
- Google reCAPTCHA v3 — bot protection on authentication pages (login, registration, password reset). Google may process interaction data to generate a risk score. See Google's Privacy Policy
- Google Fonts — typeface delivery (DM Sans, JetBrains Mono). Google may collect anonymised technical data through font requests
